Booking Policy – Wakanda Safaris

Read Wakanda Safaris’ simple booking, payment, and cancellation policy before confirming your Tanzania safari or Zanzibar holiday.

1. Booking Your Trip

Booking with Wakanda Safaris is easy. Once you confirm your safari, trek, or holiday package, we’ll send you an official booking invoice and trip plan.

To secure your place, we require a 30% deposit of the total trip cost.

This deposit allows us to confirm lodges, park entries, and local arrangements.
The remaining balance (70%) should be paid at least 30 days before your trip begins.

For last-minute trips (less than 30 days before departure), full payment is required immediately.

2. Payment Methods

We accept the following payment options:

Bank Transfer (preferred for international bookings)
Credit/Debit Card (secure online payment link)
Mobile Money (for guests in Tanzania or East Africa)

All payment details will be shared safely by email once your booking is confirmed.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

If your plans change, please inform us as soon as possible.
Our cancellation terms are:

60+ days before departure: Full refund (minus bank charges).
30–59 days before departure: 50% refund.
Less than 30 days: No refund (but we’ll try to reschedule where possible).

Refunds are processed within 21 business days.

4. Changes to Your Booking

We understand plans can change. You can modify your travel dates or itinerary, and we’ll do our best to help – depending on hotel and park availability. Some changes may involve extra costs if suppliers charge fees.

5. Travel Insurance

We highly recommend that all guests have travel insurance that covers:

Medical emergencies
Trip cancellations or delays
Lost luggage or personal belongings

6. Health & Safety

Please share any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary needs when booking so we can take care of you properly. Always follow your guide’s advice during safaris or mountain treks for your safety.
